Location

Sand Mountain is a popular underwater ski resort, and is also the winter equivalent of Goo Lagoon and there is goo nearby the area. It first appears in the episode "Prehibernation Week."

Description[]

It is a large mountain of sand. Those who go to Sand Mountain can tongue-slide, ski, or snowboard just like any other ski resort.

Role in series[]

"Prehibernation Week"[]

Sandy and SpongeBob slide down Sand Mountain. They pass other guests who are skiing, burning a camper through Sandy's extreme skiing skills. Two kids are also making a sandman, which SpongeBob crashes into. In this episode, there is also a ramp on the mountain.

"I Had an Accident"[]

Patrick, Sandy, and SpongeBob are seen sliding on the mountain. SpongeBob injures himself by breaking his gluteus maximus and becomes paranoid throughout the rest of the episode.

"Extreme Spots"[]

SpongeBob, Patrick, and other fish are hanging out here. The Drastic Radicals are also seen there.
