A salad is a food consisting only of tomato and lettuce. It is served at the Kuddly Krab in the episode "Bossy Boots." Before it is served there, Mr. Krabs opens a salad bar as a gimmick to get customers in the episode "Culture Shock."

The Krusty Krab appears to have a salad bar. Mr. Krabs makes it free after having a long loss of customers. He then ups the price to $1.00 when people start pelting Squidward with tomatoes.
"Bossy Boots"
SpongeBob is ordered to make two salads. Pearl makes one by removing everything from two Krabby Patties except the tomato and lettuce. This shocks SpongeBob, who has apparently never seen a salad before. Even though he is brokenhearted after destroying a couple of Krabby Patties, he sadly brings them to the customers, who appear to be sad too.
