Roles[]

"Sleepy Time" / Comic Number 5[]

When Dream SpongeBob invades Squidward's dream, Squidward is playing solo with his clarinet for a very large crowd. When he is interrupted by SpongeBob, the royal fish tells Squidward to keep playing but he soon gets distracted when SpongeBob starts telling him jokes. The royal fish once again yells at Squidward to keep playing and he continues to talk with SpongeBob. Squidward gets so angry that he accidentally breaks his clarinet. The royal fish tells Squidward that he came to hear wonderful music and if he does not get his wish then he will be out on death row. Squidward tries to find a solution until SpongeBob appears next to him, turned into a clarinet. Squidward plays the SpongeBob clarinet, which sounds terrible. However, the royal fish loves the music and begs Squidward to keep playing. Squidward does so until the crowd knocks him away, picking up SpongeBob, who then runs away. The royal fish, along with the crowd, chases after SpongeBob as he laughs.

Trivia[]

  • He calls Squidward "Wolfgang Amadeus Tentacles," a reference to the famous 18th century music composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
