"Quest for Tire" is a Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years episode from season 1. In this episode, the campers go primal in order to hunt down the missing, weekly food truck.

Characters[]

Synopsis[]

The episode starts as all the campers and counselors have their plates ready for their food at the entrance while chanting "food truck." Sandy comments that everyone is "hungrier than termites on a submarine." Patrick says that he has been eating dead bugs all weekend, and they taste terrible, and he offers SpongeBob the already-chewed bugs, and he declines. SpongeBob asks why Plankton runs out of food every week. Plankton says that it is Mr. Krabs' fault, as he orders food week-to-week and everyone finishes it by Friday. A truck comes, and everyone is so happy that they throw their dishes in the air. After Plankton's comments and he treats the truck like an animal, he tells it to release the food, and when the doors open, it reveals that it is full of shoes, and not food. Patrick appears in the pile and orders an olive loafer and a pair of pickled heels while he starts eating a clown shoe. Sandy appears and yells where is the food truck, slaps the truck, and makes it drive away. Everyone gets angry and asks what will they do now, and Plankton tells them that sometimes, a food truck does not want to be a food truck, and leaves to figure out their "shoe-based menu." Sandy gets on top of the shoe pile, and tells everyone that they need to form a posse and hunt the food truck to eat. Bubble Bass gets in Sandy's place and tells them if there is any posse forming, the counselors will find the truck, claiming that they are big and strong. They each do something to show strength. Larry bends metal, Bubble Bass destroys a log with his behind, and Squidward breaks the top of a pencil. All three of them then leave into the forest.

Quest for Tire 099

They start hunting for the food truck.

SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy armor themselves afterwards. Sandy is seen with oil on her face, in a broken car. She gives dipsticks to SpongeBob and Patrick, as they then fence each other, only for Sandy to hit them with her dipstick. She starts chanting "food truck!" multiple times, and gets SpongeBob and Patrick saying it while they leave into the forest, following the trail of the last delivery. Meanwhile, the counselors are seen walking weakly. Larry says that he cannot go on, Bubble Bass says that he wanted his mother's "num-nums," while Squidward is bothered by this. Larry and Bubble Bass stalk on each other, and Squidward says that it is "so much for big and strong," and that it is up to him to save them. A jellyfish shows up, and Squidward tries to make jellyfish jelly, but gets them all zapped afterwards. Sandy tries to track the truck with the tracks left over, but finds out that the trail ends at some rocks. However, they hear truck noises, and Patrick says that it is something he "did not" eat. Sandy says that it is not his stomach, it is the food truck. SpongeBob points out where the noise is coming from, and Patrick runs that direction, only to get stuck in bubble sand. SpongeBob rescues him by blowing a bubble with Patrick in it.

As Patrick comes out, the bubble goes in the opposite direction. Patrick runs the other way as SpongeBob and Sandy go after him. They see that the counselors made a chain to eat each other, as they try to deny it. Patrick is seen on top of them as he burps out a shoe and the bubble pops, with Patrick on top of the counselors. Sandy comments that they will never find the truck, but then, they see a black truck from a puddle of oil. Everyone is quiet, until Patrick yells "food!", causing the truck to drive away. Squidward calls Patrick an idiot. Larry and Sandy say that they need to put their strengths together and hunt down the truck like their primal ancestors.

A scooter goes near the oil puddle, as the black truck gets closer to the scooter and eats it. A net falls over the truck and everybody comes out of hiding, but the truck leaves, leaving everyone covered in oil. The truck drives fast as it follows the detour, which is revealed to have been made by Sandy. The truck turns left, and it is revealed that SpongeBob is a sign towards that direction. The truck is then stopped by a crossing guard to let a jellyfish through. He lets the truck pass, and he takes off a mask, revealed to be Patrick. The truck arrives at a dead end, as Patrick says that the truck is his. However, the truck rushes towards him and eats him. SpongeBob comments that it ate his best friend, while everyone else runs away. SpongeBob gets tears in his eyes as Larry pulls him away. Sandy says that they should all climb a tree, as everyone except Bubble Bass is able to get on the tree. SpongeBob and Sandy swing from a vine and get on the truck, take out their dipsticks, and puncture two holes in the hood of the truck. The truck runs wild with steam coming out of the hood.

The campers get their food.

The truck's tires pop and oil comes out. The counselors throw stuff at the truck and break the windows, making the truck move wildly and fall down. Everyone celebrates as they try to open the door. Bubble Bass' behind is used to open the door, and he asks who is hungry, and Squidward says that he thought he was. A bunch of food comes out of the truck, with Patrick in it. Patrick asks what he missed, and SpongeBob is happy to see him. Everyone cheers as Sandy tells everyone to eat, as the driver comes out saying that the truck will be in the shop for weeks. Patrick says sorry and burps out some olive loafers, and starts eating them while everyone acts crazy. Other campers watch SpongeBob run in circles around the fire and make shadows with his hands of the truck, as it is defeated. All of them then start going crazily around the fire as the episode ends.
