Planky[1] is the 1830s counterpart of Sheldon J. Plankton who appears in the episode "Dopey Dick."

Ian Vazquez's drawing of Planky along with Capn' A. Krabs, largely inspired by Benjamin Arcand's rough boards for the episode.
He is a tiny green parakeet version of Plankton who has one eye and a unibrow like his original counterpart. He also has a light pink beak, a tail with feathers, one antenna, and pink legs and feet with two toes on each foot. He also wears a brown pirate hat.
Role in episode[]
He is partnered with Capn' A. Krabs as he works at The Jelly Squirt Inn. When Fishmael Tentacles is finding a job, he slips on jellyfish jelly and leads to the Jelly Squirt Inn. Planky offers Fishmael some jellyfish jelly but he did not need any and tries to get a job but Krabs would not let him. Planky then shouts at Fishmael to get jellyfish jelly and get out. Pat-Buck Star tells Fishmael that there is a job at Ye Olde Pineapple. When Captain SpongeHab's crew catches Dopey Dick and releases it, Capn' A. Krabs' crew kidnaps it and Planky fires a bomb with nematodes to eat Ye Olde Pineapple. SpongeHab's crew sneaks onto the ship to rescue Dopey Dick when Capn' A. Krabs' crew was sleeping. They release him but Capn' A. Krabs, Planky, and his crew notice them sneaking onto their boat. Dopey Dick saves them and destroys their boat, and everyone is seen at the Jelly Squirt Inn again at the end of the episode.

- Unlike his modern-day counterpart, Planky is Capn' A. Krabs' partner instead of being his enemy.
