They are a dark teal plankton that resembles a flower.

Plankton 9 has made a few episode appearances in the series so far. Like all "Plankton" incidentals, they are always portrayed to be a member of the Plankton family.

They are one of the many members of the Plankton family who help Plankton steal the Krabby Patty secret formula in the episode.

They very briefly appear in one of Karen's memories alongside several other "Plankton" incidentals.
