The piano is a musical instrument that is classified as being in the string, keyboard, and percussion families, albeit officially a percussion instrument. It appears in the episodes "Band Geeks," "Fear of a Krabby Patty," "Pest of the West," "Suction Cup Symphony," "Choir Boys," and "Bottle Burglars."

Description

It is played using a keyboard while sitting down with a long row of keys that the player presses down on. It is played on both the bass clef and treble clef, as there are two opposite sides of the keyboard with high and low pitches. The piano is commonly found in classical, ragtime, jazz, and traditional music.
