She is a robot designed to resemble a fish that has pink skin, short red hair on top with a long summer hat, and a big blue necklace with pearls. She also wears a dress and an apron with a flower on it.
Role in episode[]
She was a robot that was operated by Plankton and portrayed to be the owner of the FlowerPot Florist, the flower shop that was in the lot of where the Chum Bucket normally is.

- Her role is similar to Cashina's, who is also a female robot that was piloted by Plankton as an evil plot.
- Additionally, her role also features a character falling in love with her (in this case, Squidward), similar to Mr. Krabs with Cashina. However, SpongeBob and Mr. Krabs also fell for the disguise even though they did not fall in love with her.
- Petunia's design was created by Dan Becker, who did the rough storyboards for the episode "The Flower Plot."[1][2]
- Her colors (chosen by Ian Vazquez) are inspired by her creator, Plankton.[1]
- Her name is based on a species of flowering plants.
