Paula Spence is a SpongeBob SquarePants crew member. She worked on background layout design for seasons 1-4 and the first movie and was an art director on Plankton: The Movie.
Biography[]
Paula Spence is a foundation director of The Animation Guild and serves on the executive board and is a recording secretary there. She took art classes at Orange Coast College and California State University, Long Beach and worked at Disneyland before being offered to work on SpongeBob. After her background design work on the show, she went on to work at Cartoon Network, where she contributed for Camp Lazlo, The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, Regular Show, and Close Enough. She did other brief work at Nickelodeon afterwards, including art directing on Rocko's Modern Life: Static Cling and Plankton: The Movie.
