Patrick Star is SpongeBob's stupid and gluttonous friend. He is not only unintelligent but a bit selfish sometimes. He is known to be very hilarious, though, by many fans. Some say that he is the most hilarious toon of all time. Herbert "Herb" Star is Patrick and Sam's father and Margie's husband. He is a son of Billy Bob Star and Maw Tucket. He made his debut in the episode, "I'm with Stupid," when he and Margie went to visit Patrick for Starfish Day. It was then revealed on a family tree in the episode, "Rule of Dumb" that his name is Herb. Herb, like his wife, is quite overweight. He has a large walrus mustache and he also is pink, just like the rest of the Star family. His pants are the same as Patrick's but his top has a slightly lighter color of purple with green flowers. He is voiced by Thomas F. Wilson. He is also the uncle of Ed and Gary, a grandson of Princess Tulsa and Yorick, a grandnephew of Prince Callous and Prince Dingus, one of Carl's 1st cousins 1x removed, a great grandson of King Amoeba and Queen Mildew, one of Cletus' nephews, one of Patrick Revere's great grandnephews, Alice Wilson's granduncle, a descendant of Pecos Patrick, Primitive Star, and Patar, and one of PatTron's ancestors.

Margaret "Margie" Star is Patrick and Sam's mother and Herb's wife who is voiced by Susan Bojiyan. She made her first appearance in "I'm With Stupid", when she and Herb visited Patrick for Starfish Day. She was also seen on the Star family tree where her first name was given as Margie. She wears a dress which has the same pattern as Patrick's shorts and she has short black hair with a red flower in it. She is also the aunt of Gary and Ed, grandaunt of Alice Wilson, the daughter-in-law of Maw Tucket and Billy Bob, PatTron's ancestors.
Samantha "Sam" Star is Patrick's older sister who was lost in the surf when she was a kid. Sam appeared in "Big Sister Sam", and in that episode she had a big temper, but also a soft side for her brother and getting made fun of. She is also a cousin of Ed and Gary, the daughter of Herb and Margie, Sluggo's niece, the granddaughter of Maw Tucket and Billy Bob, the great granddaughter of Princess Tulsa and Yorick, the great grandniece of Prince Callous and Prince Dingus, one of Carl's 1st cousins 2x removed, the great great granddaughter of Queen Mildew and King Amoeba, Cletus' grandniece, Patrick Revere's great great grandniece, Alice Wilson's 1x cousin 1x removed, a descendant of Pecos Patrick, Primitive Star, and Patar and one of PatTron's ancestors.

Maw Tucket - is Sluggo and Herb's mother. Her husband is Billy Bob. She is the grandmother of Patrick, Gary, Sam, and Ed. She is the only child of Yorick and Tulsa. She is a beige snail with a green dress. She is also Cletus' sister-in-law, the nephew of Prince Callous and Prince Dingus, Carl's cousin, King Amoeba and Queen Mildew's granddaughter, a great-grandmother of Alice Wilson, and one of PatTron's ancestors.
Yorick - Maw Tucket's father and Princess Tulsa's husband. He was the great grandfather of Patrick, Gary, Ed, and Sam and the grandfather of Herb and Sluggo. He was also King Amoeba and Queen Mildew's son-in-law, Prince Callos' brother-in-law, Carl's uncle, a great-great-grandfather of Alice Wilson and one of PatTron's ancestors.
Princess Tulsa - Maw Tucket's mother and Yorick's wife. She was the great grandmother of Patrick, Gary, Ed, and Sam and the grandmother of Herb and Sluggo. She was a princess under the reign of her father, King Amoeba, and her mother, Queen Mildew, but did not succeed to the throne. She was also Prince Callous' sister, Prince Dingus' sister-in-law, Carl's aunt, a great-great-grandmother of Alice Wilson, and one of PatTron's ancestors.
Prince Callous - Princess Tulsa's brother and the son of Amoeba and Mildew. He was a great granduncle of Patrick, Gary, Sam, and Ed and a granduncle of Herb and Sluggo. He was also Prince Dingus' husband, one of Carl's fathers, a great-great-grandunc;e of Alice Wilson, and one of Maw Tucket's uncles.
Prince Dingus - Princess Tulsa's brother-in-law. He was a great granduncle of Patrick, Gary, Sam, and Ed and a granduncle of Herb and Sluggo. He was also a son-in-law of King Amoeba and Queen Mildew, one of Carl's fathers, a great-great-granduncle of Alice Wilson, and one of Maw Tucket's uncles.
Carl (Patrick's Family) - Princess Tulsa's nephew and the son of Prince Dingus and Prince Callous. He is the 1st cousin 2x removed of Patrick, Gary, Sam, and Ed and the 1st cousin 1x removed of Herb and Sluggo. He is also Maw Tucket's cousin, and the grandson of King Amoeba and Queen Mildew.
King Amoeba - The father of Princess Tulsa and Prince Callous and Queen Mildew's husband. He was the great great grandfather Patrick, Gary, Sam and Ed, the great grandfather of Herb and Sluggo, and the grandfather of Carl and Maw Tucket. He was also the father-in-law of Prince Dingus and Yorick, a great-great-great-grandfather of Alice Wilson, and one of PatTron's ancestors.
Queen Mildew - The mother of Princes Tulsa and Prince Callous and King Amoeba's wife. She was the great great grandmother Patrick, Gary, Sam and Ed, the great grandmother of Herb and Sluggo, and the grandmother of Carl and Maw Tucket, and a great-great-great-grandmother of Alice Wilson. She was also the mother-in-law of Prince Dingus and Yorick and one of PatTron's ancestors.
Ed - the cousin of Patrick. He only appeared in the end of the Story Reader book The Never-Ending Stay. He is also the nephew of Herb and Margie.
Patrick Revere - The great great granduncle of Patrick, Sam, Ed, and Gary who warned Bikini Bottom about the mollusks. He Appear in the Episode "Pest of the West." He was also the great granduncle of Herb and Sluggo, the granduncle of Billy Bob and Cletus, Alice Wilson's great-great-great-granduncle and one of PatTron's ancestors.
Pecos Patrick Star - The Western ancestor of Patrick, Sam, Gary, Ed, Sluggo, Herb, Cletus, Billy Bob, and PatTron who lived in Dead Eye Gulch at the time of SpongeBuck. He was also a descendant of Primitive Star and Patar.

Sam should be on the family tree seen in "Rule of Dumb", but is not. It is possible that no one knew about her since she was lost on the beach before "Big Sister Sam".
