Paris is a very gluttonous, small, purple, worm-like parasite with an elastic body and sharp teeth.

At breakfast, SpongeBob is the only one who can withstand Plankton's cooking and eats a lot of it, resulting in a parasite egg ending up in his stomach. A parasite hatches from the egg, causing SpongeBob to have stomach pain and devour everything he finds. Sandy takes him to Nurse Helga, who uses an X-ray to discover that SpongeBob has contracted a parasite. According to Helga, it could cause more trouble, but SpongeBob befriends the parasite and escapes from Helga to prevent its removal.
SpongeBob names the creature Paris and takes it to archery, where the parasite steals food from Patrick, making him upset. SpongeBob goes to relax in the lake with Paris, who eats all the campers' food, prompting an angry Squidward to send them away. They go hang gliding together, but Paris crashes into Narlene and Nobby's shack to eat a pie and consume all the Sugar Squeeze as well.
Paris has grown bigger from all the food he ate and escapes to find more at Plankton's canteen. Since Plankton's food caused the whole incident, Sandy demands that Plankton solve the problem. Plankton goes inside SpongeBob's body to capture Paris but ends up trapped. Eventually, Helga manages to catch the parasite, and SpongeBob comes up with the idea to use Paris at the canteen to eat the leftovers, replacing Plankton's broken garbage disposal.
