In the beginning of the short, Patrick makes a portrait/painting of SpongeBob, which he later denies that it looks like him until Patrick makes SpongeBob's face different so it will match the portrait. The short ends and goes straight to the ad.
- This short was made to promote a tie-in of kids meal toys by Burger King for The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie back in 2004.
- The short's title, as well as Patrick's art style are referencing Pablo Picasso, a Spanish painter. He did many abstract paintings.
