The orange senior is an elderly fish who appears as a background character in various episodes.
Description
He is a senior citizen who has lived at Shady Shoals Rest Home and Shady Lanes Assisted Living. He is an orange fish with red lips, a light green dorsal fin, and several short strands of hair on his head. He wears glasses, blue slippers, and a purple scarf with blue stripes. He usually uses a cane to walk but has also been seen in a wheelchair.
History
"Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy"
He is first seen as a resident of Shady Shoals. He shakes his head and walks away when he sees Mermaid Man yelling. Later, he is seen trying to eat some mashed potatoes in the cafeteria. SpongeBob jumps onto the dining table and starts sucking on it, which causes the orange senior to move his plate in disgust.
Friends Forever
He is seen in the "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy" segment of the book, where he has the same role he has in the episode.
"Hello Bikini Bottom!"
shows him living at Shady Lanes, a different retirement home. He is brought in on a wheelchair to watch SpongeBob and Squidward's musical performance.
