Nancy[2] O'Malley[3], or better known as Officer Nancy, is a blonde-haired, female lavender fish. She works as a police officer in Bikini Bottom with other officers, most commonly with Officer Slugfish. She first appears in the episode "Nasty Patty."
Description
She is usually a lavender fish with blonde hair. She wears a white shirt with a big gold badge on it, blue pants, black shoes, and a blue police hat. In The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, she is blue, and in "Patty Caper," she is green.
Role in series
She and her partner, who is usually Officer Slugfish, play a large role in "Nasty Patty." Mr. Krabs gives her a soda but forgets to give her ice. Then, after she hits the health inspector in the head with a barrel, her first name is revealed. When she arrests SpongeBob for not inviting her to his party in "Party Pooper Pants," her last name is also revealed.
Nancy's six partners include Officer Slugfish, Officer Rob Johnson, the yellow officer, a purple one, a female green officer with orange curly hair, and her twin sister, the turquoise officer, who appears in "Patty Caper." She looks similar to Nancy except that she is green and has red hair. SpongeBob later calls her to arrest the Tattletale Strangler. She is happy when SpongeBob puts the Strangler in jail.
Video game appearances

Officer Nancy is one of the characters to whom SpongeBob can talk to and whom he can help, such as delivering packages for Squidward and completing her patty that does not have a pickle. She has a fish tail in the game, and when the player talks to her, her picture is shown in which she has dark purple skin and has orange hair.
