"Night of the Living Stench" is a Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years episode from season 1. In this episode, when all the campers try to win the 'Stinkiest Camp in the Forest' award, Squidward has to fend for his life to stay clean.

Characters[]

Synopsis[]

SpongeBob is taking a long time to shower, as the other campers wait outside. When he's done, he greets Patrick, and offers soap to him. However, Patrick is proud of his stench, seeing it as proof that he exists. SpongeBob is worried about his lack of a smell, and plays in the trash can with Patrick. Squidward is disgusted, and takes them to Krabs, complaining that they are stinking up the cabin. Krabs gets the idea to encourage the campers not to shower so he does not have to spend money on soap, giving SpongeBob and Patrick special badges for their bad smell. Krabs announces that Kamp Koral could win the "Stinkiest Cabin in the Forest" award if everyone stops showering, to Squidward's dismay.

Night of the Living Stench 090

SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy catch Squidward.

A week later, the campers are working up ways to remain stinky. Larry leads them in exercise, and Sandy turns off her suit's heater. Squidward happily enters the shower, only for Sandy to sabotage it. SpongeBob says that all the campers should be stinky together, and he, Patrick, and Sandy chase after him. Squidward runs away from them, getting into the cabin and barricading all the entrances. He rigs up traps to keep the stinky campers away, turning his clarinet into a water gun to spray them. The cabin is surrounded by campers, and Squidward sprays them from the roof. He briefly retreats, and Patrick enters through the roof. Squidward, from behind sandbags, shoots a toilet brush at him and launches him out of the cabin.

Night of the Living Stench 185

The campers fall in the lake.

Running low on supplies, Squidward pretends to surrender as a way to get SpongeBob and Sandy in. He dumps water on them, then fills Sandy's helmet with soapy water. He leaves the cabin and inflates some balloons, throwing water balloons at the mob from above. Kevin leads the campers in shooting spitballs, one of which knocks Squidward out of the air and sends him flying away. Sandy brings up her Stink-O-Meter, a device used to detect smells, and has them look for him. Squidward hides in the outhouse, which the campers pass by. When he tries to sneak away, Bubble Bass notices him and has everyone chase him. With his clarinet running out of water, Squidward dives into the lake. The campers stop on the bridge, only for it to collapse.

The dirt washes off everyone as they fall into the lake. The next morning, Squidward is the only one left, absorbing all the dirt that everyone else left behind. A ranger shows up to award Squidward a "stinky trophy," with the campers cheering and carrying him off. Squidward asks, "Does anybody have a wet wipe?" as the episode ends.
