Near Mint Comic Books is a comic book store in Bikini Bottom. It appears in the episodes "Sing a Song of Patrick," "The Card," "Ditchin'," and "Squid Noir."

Description
Exterior
It is a purple building which is partially made of bamboo. It has a giant book with a tear in the corner that reads "NEAR MINT" on it in green font, along with "Comic Books" on the front wall as its sign.
Interior
The interior includes green wood flooring, along with many racks of comic books and a front table made of bamboo with a cash register and a tall, brown cabinet in the back.
Role in series
"Sing a Song of Patrick"
It appears at the beginning of the episode, in which Patrick screams at a comic book and then proceeds to eat it. He then burps out an ad for a mail-in offer promising to record a song.
"The Card"
It is the main location of half of the episode. After the cashier tells SpongeBob that one of the packs of Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy cards might contain a rare hologram card, SpongeBob goes through all of his money to try to find the card. However, he fails. Meanwhile, Patrick tries to buy a counting book. However, he gives up and buys the last pack of cards, which SpongeBob notices that it contains one of the hologram cards. Later, it is revealed that all of the hologram cards were in the pack of cards.
"Ditchin'"
This is the location in which Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy are signing The Mermaid Man & Barnacle Boy book.
"Squid Noir"
Bubble Bass and three other fish appear inside of the store, where they are then interrupted from Squidward's clarinet playing. Afterwards, Bubble Bass appears outside and pushes Squidward back to his house.
