Synopsis[]
The episode starts with SpongeBob and Patrick doing arts and crafts. Narlene appears soon after and tells SpongeBob and Patrick that she is going to a family feud. She asks them to babysit Nobby since he’s too young to go with her. SpongeBob and Patrick agree to this and start by preparing a camp kerchief for him, but Nobby starts going wild, tying up the campers in a yarn web. They decide to introduce him to some camp activities, such as hang gliding and jellyfishing, but Nobby takes both things too far, causing havoc across the camp.
Nobby rides a jellyfish into the yacht cabin, where things are suddenly quiet. Inside the cabin, Lady Upturn is shown lecturing Nobby on proper etiquette. To SpongeBob and Patrick's surprise, Nobby gets used to Lady Upturn's lessons very quickly. Narlene returns to the camp the following day, asking SpongeBob and Patrick for Nobby. Narlene checks inside their cabin, where Nobby is seen giving Squidward painting lessons. Nobby says to Narlene that he has grown out of his previous lifestyle, leaving her in disbelief.
Narlene walks out of the cabin, confused of Nobby's more civilized manners and missing his previous behavior. While SpongeBob thinks Nobby's new self is a positive, Patrick encourages Narlene to take him into the woods to regain his previous lifestyle. They take Nobby into the woods to remind him of his wild life. They show him his "chewing tree," as well as Sugar Squeeze, but both of these attempts fail to win Nobby over.
Narlene's last idea is becoming civilized for Nobby, which she dreads the thought of but decides she has to go through with. SpongeBob and Patrick give Narlene a makeover at their cabin. Meanwhile at the yacht cabin, Regigille plays violin for Lady Upturn and Nobby instructs him on this. Patrick enters the cabin and introduces everyone inside to the "new" Narlene, now civilized.
Lady Upturn, Roh and Rea are surprised at Narlene's new self, while Nobby breaks into laughter and reverts to his old self, revealing that his civilized self was a prank all along. Narlene is mad by this at first, but is actually proud of Nobby, saying that his prank proves that he’s ready to join her in the family feud. Narlene and Nobby reunite, with Nobby saying that the feud can energize him.
