Is SpongeBob a Multiverse? 🤔 - Slog Da Vlog 1 - Nickelodeon Cartoon Universe

In the SpongeBob SquarePants franchise, there are many different versions of reality. This article lists the versions of reality that have appeared in the show so far.

Mainstream continuities[]

280333876 10158430016856366 6344647086027594742 n

The mainstream continuity contains all characters seen in the series. They are seen in every episode. However, according to "The Tidal Zone," Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years and The Patrick Star Show are separate dimensions.

"Mr." Plankton continuity[]

The Algae's Always Greener 067

First seen in "The Algae's Always Greener," this universe has a Plankton that made the Krabby Patty formula accidentally, leaving a nudist Krabs trying to steal the formula. Everyone in that universe alive at its creation/diversion had the same memories as their mainstream counterparts did until that point.

Plankton, now named Mr. Plankton, married the mainstream Pearl's mother and had an alternate Pearl with her. He also hired the likes of the loyal SpongeBob and the complaining Squidward.

Even though he was the boss of the restaurant, however, did not do a good job. He gave the alternate-universe Pearl only $1.00 for her allowance, switched SpongeBob's and Squidward's jobs around, did nothing to stop Mr. Krabs from getting the formula, and only two Krabby Patties that were in his office and his success that he temporarily had.

After seeing through that universe's Krabs and how annoying he really was, he went back to the mainstream continuity.

Nowhere[]

SB-129 168

Most likely existing outside the multiverse and first seen in "SB-129," no one has a clue how this universe came into existence. It is a void of any confirmed life, and anything but colored squares and voices is only known to say "alone." The mainstream Squidward, when escaping a Primitive SpongeBob and Patrick Star millions of years into his past, accidentally accessed a glitch in his time machine. He broke off the switch and appeared a few minutes later in the void. He initially liked the solitude but got so lonely; he pleaded the mentioned time machine to return to his reality.
