Changes: Mrs. Tentacles

Mrs. Tentacles (Mama Tentacles) is Squidward's elderly mother. She has white hair and wears a dress. She wears slippers and she is turquoise just like Squidward. In "Fools in April," she had white hair but no wrinkles on her face. In the episode "Krusty Towers," Mama Tentacles now has wrinkles, pink clothes, and looks older, but also with glasses.

She made her first live appearance on the episode, "Krusty Towers", because Squidward wanted cookies like mother used to make. After Squidward gets his mother's cookies, Squidward replies "If only Mom was a better cook." She made a small appearance in "Ghost Host" when the Flying Dutchman took the form of her head to haunt Squidward.

Mrs. Tentacles seems to like baking cookies as seen in the episode. "Krusty Towers." She also appears to be very friendly, although in "Fools in April" she was mean to Squidward. She is married to Papa Tentacles although it is presumed that he is deceased. Mrs. Tentacles also resides in an Easter Island head similar to Squidward's; the only difference is her home has womanish curly hair.^[1] She is voiced by Rodger Bumpass who also voices Squidward.

Appearances

In "Fools in April" when Squidward's starts hearing and seeing people and their voices after getting yelled at for pranking SpongeBob, Mama Tentacles' House...the head Mama Tentacles appears briefly and she says, "you stink!" Instead of the fish that said that. Squidward then says, "Mother?!"

The same "You stink!" voice clip is heard at the end of Pickles.

In "Krusty Towers", Mama Tentacles makes her first actual appearance, instead of just seeing her head for a short time. Squidward commands Mr. Krabs to ask his mother as to how to make cookies like her. Mr. Krabs, with SpongeBob for help, come to her house. They knock on her door wearing kidnapping clothing and hold tools, and then Mama Tentacles opens the door and gasps. Afterward, a scene occurs that makes the viewer think that Mama Tentacles is being kidnapped. It turns out that Mr. Krabs was putting his laundry in the trunk but couldn't get it in. Afterward, Mama Tentacles says, "Let's go bake some cookies, boys!"

In "Ghost Host", Mama Tentacles makes another very short appearance. When Squidward is being tortured by the Flying Dutchman, the Dutchman uses Mama Tentacles as a way of torture. She says "Why haven't you called me?!"

In another Episode she sowed a pillow with her stitch signature on it. SpongeBob made a replica of Squidward's house, and it is on the pillow. When Squidward reads it, he says "mama" in an Italian accent.
