Description[]

In "Fools in April," Mrs. Tentacles has puffy white hair, turquoise skin, pink lipstick, and long eyelashes, but no wrinkles.

In "Krusty Towers," her first physical appearance, she has light purple hair, glasses, gold earrings, a pink nightgown with matching slippers, and looks older. This design looks extremely similar to Granny Tentacles on The Patrick Star Show.

In Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years, she is purple in color and wears a red dress.

Mrs. Tentacles is redesigned again in "Momageddon." Here, she is dark turquoise and has gray hair, an orange dress with a darker orange stripe, light purple eyeshadow, and dark purple glasses. She was likely redesigned due to Granny Tentacles having an identical design and being more prominent in the franchise than she is.

Personality[]

Mrs. Tentacles likes baking cookies as seen in the episode "Krusty Towers." She also appears to be very friendly, although in "Fools in April" she was rude to Squidward in his hallucination.

In "Momageddon," Mrs. Tentacles is shown to be as bad-tempered as her son, nagging him during his workday and later stating she is disappointed in him.

Residence[]

Mrs. Tentacles resides in a Moai similar to Squidward's; the only difference is that her home has womanish curly hair as seen in "Krusty Towers" and "Scavenger Pants."

Role in series[]

SpongeBob SquarePants[]

"Fools in April"[]

Mrs. Tentacles first appears in Squidward's hallucination, where she yells "You stink!" at Squidward, in the same voice as an offscreen Bikini Bottomite berating him for his hurtful prank on SpongeBob at the Krusty Krab earlier on.

"Krusty Towers"[]

She makes her first live appearance in this episode because Squidward wants cookies like his mother used to make. When Mr. Krabs and SpongeBob arrive at her house to have her help them make the cookies, they appear as if they were about to rob or kidnap her, but she actually helps them pack up Mr. Krabs' laundry.

After Squidward gets his mother's cookies, he states that he wishes his mother was a better cook.

"Ghost Host"[]

The Flying Dutchman takes the form of Mrs. Tentacles' head to haunt Squidward by repeating the phrase "Why haven't you called me?" over and over as a way to scare Squidward.

"The Krusty Sponge"[]

She is mentioned after Squidward gets hit on the head with pots and pans.

"Squid's Visit"[]

She is mentioned when Squidward notices SpongeBob's replicated "For Squidy[sic] with love, Mama" pillow.

"Little Yellow Book"[]

Gary chews up a picture of her.

"Company Picnic"[]

She appears in a picture.

"Sold!"[]

In "Smiling Rainbows," she is mentioned when Squidward wants her to look at him dancing and hear his song.

"Whirly Brains"[]

A photo frame is shown in Squidward's bathroom when Squidward is taking a bath.

"Sportz?"[]

She appears in the audience during Squidward and Sandy's basketball game, where Sandy tells Squidward to take his complaints to his mother.

He promptly turns to his mother who immediately tells him that she does not want to hear Squidward's complaining about Sandy's basketball shot.

"Scavenger Pants"[]

She tells SpongeBob and Patrick that Squidward is an only child because she felt that one child was enough. In the end, she adopts SpongeBob and Patrick so Squidward will now have two brothers.

"Pat Hearts Squid"[]

A picture of her appears hanging in Squidward's temporary tent.

"Momageddon"[]

She appears along with Margaret SquarePants and Betsy Krabs for Bring Your Mom to Work Day.

Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years[]

"Kamp Kow"[]

In Squidward's flashback as a baby, she gives her son a toy of Lucky so he would stop crying about the clarinet his dad took away from him.

The Patrick Star Show[]

"Get Off My Lawnie"[]

She appears on the photo in Granny Tentacles' house standing next to Squidward.

Relationships[]

Jeff Tentacles[]

It is not shown what her relationship with her husband was. However, after Jeff took away Squidward's clarinet because he was annoyed with it, Mrs. Tentacles scolds him and gave her baby the toy, which shows that she's not afraid to be strict with her husband whenever he upsets their son.

Squidward Tentacles[]

It can be assumed that she had a good relationship with her son, Squidward and they love each other dearly. She affectionately calls him "dear" and "honey" and showed him a motherly love, by making him delicious cookies and gave him a toy of Lucky that had exact squeaky sounds as the clarinet, that Jeff angrily took away, which is seen in the flashback in the episode "Kamp Kow."

Despite her love for her son, she, at times, can be rude to her son, as seen in "Sportz?", when Squidward attempts to complain, she stubbornly said that she does not want to hear his complains. In the episode "Scavenger Pants," she adopted SpongeBob and Patrick, so they can be her new adoptive sons, much to her biological son's dismay.

SpongeBob, Patrick, and Mr. Krabs[]

Mrs. Tentacles is quite friendly with SpongeBob and Mr. Krabs, when they visit her and ask her for cookies for Squidward in the episode "Krusty Towers."

In "Scavenger Pants," she was visited by SpongeBob and Patrick, who are playing the Scavenger Hunt and ask the location of Squidward's brother, but Mrs. Tentacles tells them that Squidward is her only child and that one is enough.

It is shown that, unlike her son, she is fond of SpongeBob and Patrick and even adopted them.
