Mount Triton is what Triton calls Bikini Bottom after he transforms it into a mountain in the SpongeBob and the Clash of Triton video game.
Description
Mount Triton is an extremely large mountain created by Triton and is the result of his reign of terror. The mountain is split into five segments, each housing a well-known location. Rock Bottom is at the base, followed by Glove World!, Goo Lagoon, Downtown Bikini Bottom, and finally finishing with Uptown Bikini Bottom on the mountain's summit. The Krusty Krab is also seen at the summit and acts as the mountain's final destination.
Role in video game
Mount Triton acts as the hub world for the game, where the player can select any of the 25 levels to play if they are unlocked. The goal of the game is to reach level 25, where either SpongeBob or Patrick will fight Triton. If SpongeBob or Patrick manage to defeat Triton, Mount Triton will disappear and Bikini Bottom will be restored to its normal form.
Trivia
- Despite Triton zapping Bikini Bottom with his trident in order to create Mount Triton, Rock Bottom is classified as part of Bikini Bottom, even though it's a separate city located in a trench far away from it.
