Maurice only appears in the episode "Dunces and Dragons." He and his wife are the judges of the annual Jousting Tournament. He appears helping SpongeBob and Patrick up after they had a great fall. He wears a purple king's outfit with a crown, for jousting. It could be possible that he is a king, or has some blood lines with royalty.
