"Mexico 2" is a SpongeBob SquarePants The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water short. In this short, SpongeBob and Patrick explain their visit to Mexico.

Synopsis
The short opens with SpongeBob and Patrick laughing as they go to different places. The screen then shows a picture of SpongeBob and Patrick in front of a mariachi band. SpongeBob explains that one of his most favorite places on dry land is Plaza Garibaldi in Mexico City. He tells the audience that they can find a mariachi band there. After that, SpongeBob asks Patrick if he plays an instrument; Patrick asks if mayonnaise is an instrument and SpongeBob tells him that mayonnaise is a condiment instead.
SpongeBob tells that the people at Plaza Garibaldi told them to check out football, and a picture of SpongeBob and Patrick playing football can be seen. At the game, the home team wins.
He then tells that him and Patrick also turned on their powers for some Lucha Libre and a picture of SpongeBob and Patrick as the Invincibubble and Mr. Superawesomeness in front of the Lucha Libre can be seen. The short then ends with a screen reading "The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out Of Water in theaters April 2."

- Patrick asks if mayonnaise is an instrument, which is a reference to his famous line in the episode "Band Geeks."
