  • This one do you think there's a better reason than "minor"?

  • Hi Gamer. I am writing this message because I have seen that the proposal about the comments section has passed. My question is about the talk pages that you mentioned - when will these talk pages get introduced to the wiki and where will they be located? Sorry if my question sounds a bit weird, I just haven't seen any Fandom wiki with talk pages before.

  • That was very rude what you said to Peachy in her DM request. Why did you say that?

    • Who the hell are you? Anyway, I said that because I wanted to say what I thought. I do not apologise for doing so.

Hey! Don't say the H word to me. That's disrespectful.

    • I violated no policies through that insult. If you want to have a constructive argument then this is not the way to go about it. Maybe instead of calling everything you don't like rude or disrespectful you could actually try to do something that is worth your time.

  • This account was made on September 17 2019 said in this thread that trivia regarding what episodes were the last/first to air after the movies are similar to the now-banned Stephen Hillenburg lifetime trivia and should be discouraged, in response to your protest against my removal of the note on the "It Came from Goo Lagoon" about it being the last double length episode to air before The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water.

I don't see how this trivia benefits the page at all: It can just be analyzed by going to a certain timeline page and seeing what the last episode listed as airing before one of the three movies was. For example listing "SpongeBob Meets the Strangler" and "Pranks a Lot" as the last episodes to air before the first movie on their respective pages is unnecessary because the reader can go to the Timeline:2004 page and do the math. If we're to keep this kind of trivia, then we might as well start adding trivia about the last/first episodes to air before or after the release of a video game, book, etc.

    • Firstly, This account was made on September 17 2019 is not an authority on how things should be done on this wiki.

The reason I think that the trivia benefits the page is because the second movie was a significant event for the franchise. The pause in production also let to production being paused and the notable split with '9A' and '9B.' I think this alone makes it notable enough, but in addition with it not being the last episode in production order before then, it really is not a pointless bit of information to have there at all. Going to look at a timeline page is extremely inconvenient and does not facilitate ease of access of information, not least because it is in an entirely different namespace. (I also disagree with you saying that "SpongeBob Meets the Strangler" and "Pranks a Lot" being the last episodes to air before the first movie is not notable, but this is not about that.) Obviously I would not advocate adding pieces of trivia to that effect for every book or video game, but for notable things like the last episodes airing before movies, I do believe that it benefits the wiki.

  • There's a proposal that passed weeks ago which means that we can't use this for example: Although this episode premiered in 20XX, it was made in 20XX according to the credits which you could stop adding incomplete infoboxes. https://spongebob.fandom.com/wiki/ESB:Proposals/Remove_airdate_and_release_date_related_trivia_from_pages/voting

    • That only relates to those being noted in the trivia section. It says nothing about them being in infoboxes, and it would simply state the year that it was made in according to the credits, and would not be written in the format that you describe above. The reason I am adding the {{Infobox-incomplete}} template to pages is because in this proposal, it was agreed that they are to be added, but on the vast majority of pages they have not been. I am adding the template and not just adding the production year because the episode infoboxes are contained on separate templates, which are protected (although there is a proposal to change this).

  • Foe innuendos will this be a good template? Instead of removing them.

    • No. If someone doesn't want a mere reference to the innuendo, then they can choose not to read it when they see "Innuendo:" marked in bold.

  • Why should these tidbits of information be kept on the trivia sections? Aside from Anthony saying they should be removed, they are usually based on bizarre fan interpretations that are little more than a stretch, and are borderline inappropriate to have even though we don't explicitly explain the meaning of the innuendo, but kids visiting this wiki really don't need to know about the context of these dirty jokes and pester their parents with a million questions about SpongeBob scenes they learned were inappropriate.

They're episodes like "InSPONGEiac" where SpongBob says, "Ah yuck" where it sounds like a swear word.

Fun fact: On the InSPONGEiac/transcript page, it actually use to say the F word uncensored. I edited out that word from the transcript in this edit for the simple fact that it goes against the wiki's policy.
