  • Hi, I see you deleted popcorn for being "too generic" despite its many appearances. By this logic, are you just going to delete any other pages for generic objects that already exist in real life, or just the ones that don't play a major role in the show? Some of those objects do play a major role in the episode (e.g. the chocolate bar in "Chocolate with Nuts").

However, if you're just going to abide by the former case, you might want to delete these pages as well for they are also "generic" objects:

    • I've deleted the lettuce and onions pages, since they're very minor on their own, and all relevant info about them is already included on the Krabby Patty page.

Mayo and pickles have played important roles without just being part of another food, so they're probably significant enough to stay.

As for the others, they've survived deletion requests in the past, so they would need new deletion requests. The community's consensus on them has probably changed since. (It's interesting to note that almost all of the comments on Tomatoes are about how it shouldn't be its own page.)

    • What about lemonade (not significant outside of black lemonade which already has its own page), steak sauce, hot dog (not really significant outside of the already existing Krusty Dog page), beans, walkie-talkie, cookies, fiber, hot sauce, kelp, strawberry ice cream sandwich, sponge cake, salad, nachos, lima beans, and hot chocolate? Should those pages stay too? I'll let you know if I think of anymore but I pretty much got down all the food ones.

Mayonnaise is a plot element in "Planet of the Jellyfish." If you're thinking about deleting the Pickles (food) page, then might as well delete the "Pickles" page while your at it.

  • Hi. Any particular reason why you reverted my earlier edit on the SpongeBob SquarePants character page? I wasn't adding anything unhelpful. I was trying to list a true fact, because SpongeBob did have two background appearances in "Mall Girl Pearl," and a couple of other facts. So I am asking because I don't understand: why did you revert my edit?

    • Also, you need to update your message wall greeting. It currently says it's 9:59 PM on the Pacific Coast, on March 20, 2020.

    • The Shell Games page says it's his second-smallest role. I think that might be because Patrick also mentions SB in the episode whereas he's not mentioned at all beforehand in Mall Girl Pearl. I'm not sure, though. Those contradictions should be sorted out before changing them on one page and leaving them on another.

The message wall greeting is automated, not manual. It's very laggy and depends on Fandom's universal time. It's showing up as April 4 for me.

  • Hello, Katerina. May I ask you a question, please?

Since you born in Russia, do you still know russian language?

      Loading editor
    • I've forgotten pretty much all of my Russian. I left when I was four, then learned English, and that's been my only language since then.

I actually went back to my birth town when I was in fifth grade, and I realized I couldn't really understand anything. I had to be with my parents at all times and they told me what everything meant.

Though, my older brothers know some Russian and can still have basic conversations in Russian.

  • Hey Katie, since you deleted the lard page for being too generic and having only minor appearances, here's another page of equal notability for you to delete: Butter. Nothing new, same minor appearances and lack of impact on the plot as lard.

  • Good day, Kandy Katie. This message is about the stock art for the characters. Now I know that there will be people coming after me, but I want to know where has all the stock art gone. I used to visit this wiki back in May of 2019 and there were a bunch of stock art images. (especially for SpongeBob) But I just want to know where they have went.

(Edit: Ok. I think I got my answer. I just had to scroll down just a little. Thank you very much.)

Question: But who is this user that you speak of may I ask?

      Loading editor
    • The user is Taras the Sponge, who has made a ton of sockpuppet accounts. They still haven't stopped harassing me and occasionally other users about the stock art.

        Loading editor
    • Ok. But do you have the stock art images?

        Loading editor
    • I do still have them. Other users also downloaded them, and the stock art is still used for some profile pictures and backgrounds here on the wiki.

        Loading editor
    • Ok good. But honestly, I don't see the reason as to why the stock art images should be removed. Like I told Figmeister , I don't see why they should be removed. They are official images of the SpongeBob SquarePants franchise. And I'm pretty sure that there are some unofficial images in the galleries for these characters. I don't see why they should be taken down. And that guy, Taras the Sponge, he isn't an administator or bureaucrat of this wiki, so I completely don't see why.

  • There was stock art of SpongeBob and few other things on SpongeBob Sqaurepants/Gallery, but there are gone from the page. What happened?

      Loading editor
    • A rude user harassed me endlessly about the stock art and kept making sockpuppets, so I had to stop uploading the art. The sock continues to come here, and even left me a message as recently as today.

That's the reason Kandy Katie hasn't uploaded stock art in like forever.

  • Of course, your well aware of the new short that aired called "2019 Kids' Choice Awards short" which marks the first SpongeBob short to be shown in the Kids' Choice Awards in 14 years since 2005 when "Nickelodeon Blimp" aired. Apparently, there are issues with trying to find this short in high quality as it has only officially aired on television. The only countries this short has aired in officially are Canada and the United States. To my knowledge, this short in the 2019 Kids' Choice Awards aired in the USA on Nickelodeon and possibly TeenNick and Nicktoons. Where I live in Canada, this short in the 2019 Kids' Choice Awards aired only on YTV. I checked the entire schedule for Nickelodeon Canada for March 23, 2019 and I couldn't find a single listing for the 2019 Kids' Choice Awards on that channel. The USA airing has the problem of having the TV-G rating and #KCA Live at the top part of the screen. But then the Canadian airing has the opposite problem of having the YTV Live logo at the bottom part of the screen. Both this short and the Super Bowl LIII Halftime Show short aired in the United States and Canada at the same time due to those events being broadcast in those countries simultaneously.

Anyways, I think this might be like SpongeBob SquarePants 4-D: Ride where is no official version without logos on the screen. You did suggest Nickelodeon uploading the short in its original quality on its official YouTube channel could change this, but at the time of me writing this, they have not. It's strange too because that same YouTube channel has already uploaded a video with the SpongeBob SquarePants musical performing at the end of the Kids' Choice Awards 2019. So unless a high quality version of this short is officially released without any logos on the screen, I think you have found the best possible quality we can have.

  • SpongeBob's Eyelashes Disappear in SBYF

I've heard you have the episode "SpongeBob You're Fired" in high quality. Since you do, can you please replace this image with a higher quality version and without the Nickelodeon logo? Also, just replace the image with the same file name and png part. Do make note that this image requires a little bit of tricky timing as the missing eyelashes only appear for 1 second.

  • Upon exploring deep depths of the internet, I managed to find the person responsible for adding in the false airdates on this wiki. It all started when Wikipedia created a SpongeBob episode list as far back as Thursday, December 15, 2005 in this edit. Although, the earliest edits on that page didn't even have airdates. It would just say stuff like "Season 3 aired from 2001 to 2004" and then just list the episode titles within that season. Even back in 2005, the list of SpongeBob episodes was a target for vandalizing and adding in fake episode titles which had to be constantly reverted, like in this edit. It was not until 2 weeks later that month on Thursday, December 29, 2005 that AMK152 finally started adding in airdates to the list of SpongeBob episodes Wikipedia page in this edit. And yes, it was already confirmed a while ago about that the AMK152 on Wikipedia was the same AMK152 who is on this wiki. Anyways, AMK152 was unfortunately adding in false airdates on Wikipedia back in late 2005. Although AMK152 probably wasn't aware of the false airdates back then. CDCB2 even stated how TV.com was one of the earliest sources used for SpongeBob airdates, even though they got several airdates wrong. I would presume that AMK152 was using the TV.com airdates as a source back when he was adding them to list of SpongeBob episodes Wikipedia page. The SpongeBob SquarePants episode list by NickandMore is definitely correct about how the wrong airdates were unfortunately being passed around for many years. Wikipedia is a fine example of a SpongeBob episode list dating as far back as 2005. About 2 years later in 2007, this wiki was created. The SpongeBob episode list on this wiki was created on Monday, August 20, 2007 by founder Haldir in this edit. If you compare what the SpongeBob episode list on Wikipedia looked like around the time the SpongeBob episode list was created on this wiki, you'll notice how both pages look exactly the same. This is because the Wikipedia version was just copied and pasted onto this wiki. Although, this was done for several reasons such as lack of a proper template system back then. Even AMK152 had admitted that a lot of the early SpongeBob wiki pages were migrated over from Wikipedia at the time. That's the reason why this wiki has the Wikipedia template.

Wikipedia logo This page uses content from Wikipedia (originalauthors). Both Encyclopedia SpongeBobia and Wikipedia are licensed under the CC BY-SA 3.0 Unported license.

So technically speaking, AMK152 was the user responsible for adding in the false airdates on Wikipedia and Haldir was the user responsible copying those false airdates and putting them onto this wiki. I don't blame them though. Because outside of TV.com, it was definitely harder to find reliable information on the airdates back in 2005. YouTube was just starting out back in 2005. The SpongeBob episode list on this wiki was created a year after I started watching SpongeBob SquarePants for my first time in 2006. Plus considering I was born in 2000, I would have been too young to be editing this wiki back in 2007. Even the ESB:Rules page states how it's against Fandom policy for a person under the age of 13 to use Fandom. Out of all the "reliable sources," the 2004 SpongeBob Exposed! The Insider's Guide to SpongeBob SquarePants might have just been the best source for SpongeBob airdates back then. Especially since the SpongeBob episode list on Wikipedia was created in 2005, but the SpongeBob digital releases on iTunes date back to 2006 according to the List of digital DVDs page. Likewise, The First 100 Episodes DVD didn't officially exist until years later in 2009.
