Also, I partly agree with your opinion about the updates on Fandom. This change to the Wiki Activity, the Source Editor etc. recently happened to one of the wikis where I contribute, and now, editing pages with the Source Editor via phone is a nightmare; the bars upside and down taje up the whole screen, and I can't see what I type! I even tried to use the Computer Mode on Chrome; in both ways, there are problems with the editor at times, in regards to cutting words and spacing.
I want community consensus to be preserved and respected, that's what I want. As for the page, sure, but the fact that the previous consensus on this was pretty much ignored by the creator of that discussion was what motivated me to stand with those in favor of keeping it.
It's not against policy to create another request (at least I don't think so), but I just think it's not moral and pretty much disregards our community's previous conclusion. If you want, you can ask an admin and withdraw it, but that's my reason for opposing if you were wondering.
I didn't just resign from admin, I retired from the wiki for a number of factors. It also coincided with the 20th anniversary of SpongeBob SquarePants being brought to an end, which was my main interest and activity on ESB for much of 2019.
Hi, I know you resigned a long time ago around last year, but I'm curious to ask what made you want to step down from your administrator role? I'm guessing it was due to loss of interest in the wiki and the fact that there's not really much left to do here after all the years other than the weekly new episode information? Whatever the reason it's really sad because you were one of the best admins on this wiki and I didn't expect to see you resign when I came back here later in 2019. :(
Unfortunately, I don't watch SpongeBob anymore, and I knew my time on the wiki was coming to a cessation as anniversary festivities concluded.
I didn't have the passion to continue administrating, and nor did I feel in the right place to continue actively being part of the community. I had other commitments and interests to pursue.
On August 1st, I decided to move on the day of my anniversary of being an active member of the community. While I do miss ESB and all the memories I've had, I've enjoyed the many opportunities that got presented during my absence outside of the wiki.
I apologize if my departure felt sudden or unexplained, but I just didn't have the interest or personal conviction to continue contributing I'm afraid. There were other interests that were in my wheelhouse.
So I've moved on, and I hope this community continues to flourish and thrive. I've certainly enjoyed my time here, and thank you for your kind words. I really do appreciate it. :)
