  • Why are you changing some of the templates like {{Episode/214a}}?

    • What's wrong with the Transcript and Gallery templates I've made for the pages? They seem fine to me.

    • Because making templates for a single page is a bit inefficient, and when done in large quantities impacts performance. While I understand the original intent was to curb vandalism, that would seem to be a non-issue since the templates are unprotected and anyone can edit them. Thus the solution creates more problems than it solves. Whatever method is being used to create the standalone templates is causing them to show up again and again in our metrics, despite them not having changed. Therefore, at least temporarily, I've inserted the contents of those templates (as they're a nested template call) into the articles, which should in theory halt the metrics / Insights problem and increase performance a bit. If it turns out they're not causing the problem, they can be reverted. We'll know in about two weeks. In the meantime, please don't revert the edits to the articles.

  • el:MediaWiki:Wikia.css

I have put to import Themes.css. And yes, I have created the Themes.css page in my wiki, with all the coding.

    • Unlike on EN, on EL the MediaWiki:Common.css is concatenated (added together)  at the beginning. @Import lines have to be at the beginning, so move the import lines from the top of Wikia.css to the top of Common.css.

  • For this test: User:AMK152/Episode Test, which is generated from this template: User:AMK152/Episode, could you help me make these changes?

    • I can, though some of them will be easier than others.

    • Which of these are you referring to?

    • How do you increase the width of the images when increasing the width of the infobox so that there isn't space on either side of the image?

        Loading editor
    • In general, it's not good to increase the width of infoboxes. The images are tuned to output at 270px wide, and they can be modified to be smaller or larger with CSS, but this generally leads to a loss in quality. We've found that 270px is both standard (it was both the mode and median size of infoboxes across the network before PIs were launched) and well balanced to the needs of most communities.
