Hello, regarding your oppose vote on the forum games policy. Forums are eventually going to go away and so people are going to need to get used to discussions, so we need some way for the community to move forward and get used to the idea. I want to know what about the proposal that would need to change in order for you to support it? We are looking for a good compromise.
I’m sorry for the rudeness, I misread your message. I’d like it if every game currently allowed on forums was allowed on Discussions, but only when forums are finally permanently removed from every wiki.
Making the most of them? If we do that, then it will be a huge shock and people will have to figure out the best way to use Discussions. Getting people used to something makes for an easier transition.
Technically, discussions are basically forum but with a white background and with no wikitext/coding, so it wouldn't take very long for people to get used to it.
Plus this exists, so it's not like it'll happen this year or 2020.
They don't have a set date because the feature discussions hasn't been fully developed. It will still happen in the near future and it may be a good idea to prepare for a smooth transition. With that being said, you guys can give feedback at Special:Contact/feedback to Wikia but just keep in mind Wikia hasn't finished developing discussions so potentially some of your concerns may be resolved at some point.

I'm saying that since discussions isn't that different from forum, it wouldn't take that long to get used to it. Even without wikitext.
Yes, I understand that part. Just clarifying that reply staff sent out in that screenshot about timing.

Well other users kept saying other users names and the users are crucial characters in those and we all agreed it was fine on an NES thread, I'm going to look at which one but why did I get a warning when so many others did it too?
if a user made themself part of the story, that's fine, but i don't see where jensonk did that. he only replied to the thread, and his reply didn't even have anything to do with the plot of the story.
