Maximus[citation needed] is a trench monster who first appears in The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie during the song "Now That We're Men."
Description[]
He is extremely huge, slender, blackish-purple with little yellow rectangular lines similar to a road, aqua freckles, one big aqua green eye, turquoise blue lips, a purple dorsal fin, and a small traffic light at the top of his head acting like the lantern of a glow fish.
Role in movie[]
Although he initially attempts to eat SpongeBob and Patrick, he stops so he does not. He sees the two dancing, and the other eight trench monsters come to see them.
Role in series[]

A smaller version of him is seen in the long queue at the Krusty Krab along with some trench monsters and Rock Bottomites.

He retains his role from the first movie.

In this game, it seems to be Maximus belongs to a species, as there are many enemies around the third world on the game that look just like him. Their attacks consist on vomiting at DoodlePants. In this game, there are two types of Maximus: that is purple and throws the vomit to the floor, and an orange one whose vomit moves straight without changing direction.
