Margjorie Margie[1] Star[2] is the mother of Patrick and Sam Star, the sister-in-law of Sluggo, the aunt of Gary and Ed, and the daughter-in-law of Billy Bob and Maw Tucket.
Description
She is a coral pink starfish who has jet-black hair with a violet-red flower in her hair. She wears a big top-dress that is the same in design and color as Patrick's pants.
Biography
Margie fell in love with Herb Star when they went to the World's Least Exciting Sweater.[3]
The two married and had two children, Sam Star and Patrick Star.
Patrick took her to his junior prom.[4]
At one point, she named a sandwich that Patrick made "Fred."[5]
She never learned to swim.[6]

She and her husband were first indirectly mentioned by Patrick as "parents" in "Home Sweet Pineapple."
"The Chaperone"
SpongeBob indirectly mentions her when he says, "No, that was Patrick who brought his mom."
"Something Smells"
When Patrick rambles in the Reef Cinema bathroom, he says, "What's my mom gonna say?," indirectly mentioning her.
"I'm with Stupid"
She and her husband appear at the end of the episode. Squidward comes over to Patrick's house to say that Patrick's parents have been repeatedly asking, "Where's Patrick?"
Patrick hugs his parents and they are impressed that he can do basic tasks like getting dressed.
The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie video game
In the console version, when the player pauses the game, Patrick occasionally says that she told him "if you can't say anything nice about someone, don't blow your nose into your hand."
