The Magic Wishing Shell is a toy owned by Patrick. It appears in the console versions of the video games Battle for Bikini Bottom and Battle for Bikini Bottom: Rehydrated.

Description[]

It is a dark lavender shell. According to Patrick, if someone puts something inside it, says the magic words, and shakes the shell, they will be granted duplicates or improved versions of the object inside the shell by the following morning.

Role in game[]

In the first cutscene, SpongeBob and Patrick are shown playing with their toy robots and racehorses. SpongeBob then asks Patrick if real robots would be better. Patrick claims that having access to real robots would be possible by putting the toy robots in the Magic Wishing Shell, saying the magic words, and shaking it. He also claims that a similar scenario had unfolded with a cookie crumb, with the shell apparently granting many cookie crumbs.

The following morning, SpongeBob wakes up to his house being a mess and sees real robots all across Bikini Bottom, seemingly under the impression that he and Patrick caused the swarms to arrive by using the shell.

Trivia[]

  • According to the subtitles in Battle for Bikini Bottom: Rehydrated, the original magic wishing word was "Alakazama-ala-balo-weesnaw-dinky-tana-fooshbarg-griddlebits-von-wiener-schnauzer."
