Ma Plankton[3] is the mother of Sheldon J. Plankton. She first appears in the short "Plankton. A Thank You Would Be Nice."

Description[]

She is a yellow slim plankton in live action form. In the storyboard, she has a rounder body than Plankton. She wears a hat with a flower on it, and a dress. In the series proper, she is a heavy-set plankton with black curly hair that has curlers over her antenna. She wears a dark purple dress and yellow-rimmed glasses. Initially, she was simply a copy of Ma Angler, but with one eye to look like a plankton.

Personality[]

According to Plankton, she is also evil.

Biography[]

When she was an adult, she married Gordon Plankton, who would later have the nickname, "Papa Plankton."

Together, they had a child: Sheldon J. Plankton, on August 21[4].

They had many more children.[5] Sheldon says, referring to his mother, "I was always her favorite."[6]

According to Sheldon, she apparently taught her son how to be evil.
