Little Floater is a sentient talking bubble that appears in the audio only episode "Little Floater's Wild Weekend."
Description[]
Although his appearance is unknown, he is likely similar to that of a normal bubble. In the end, Little Floater splits into three smaller sentient bubbles that keep the same personality. Although he can speak, the only word that Little Floater is able to speak is "blub."
Role in episode[]
Little Floater was accidentally created when SpongeBob accidentally spills his bubble soap on the radio. At first he is concerned, but he still has enough soap for one last bubble, thus creating Little Floater. SpongeBob is amazed at the fact that the bubble can talk and even theorizes that the radio rays made the bubble much stronger than any mortal bubble (implying it to be some sort of god). SpongeBob then does not care about the details and just names the sentient bubble "Little Floater," taking him to the Big Bubble Off. SpongeBob and Little Floater go to the backseats of the show, apologizing to Little Floater for witnessing a bubble named Captain Lou popping. As SpongeBob invites all of his friends to the show, Little Floater seemingly disappeared. Squidward tells SpongeBob that it was likely that Little Floater popped and died, with all of his friends attempting to cheer him up. SpongeBob then starts crying at the loss of Little Floater, until the judge reveals that Little Floater is alive and well and won the Big Bubble Off. SpongeBob attempts to pin the medal on Little Floater for doing such a great job, with everyone shouting at SpongeBob not to do it or else Little Floater would pop. Fortunately however, Little Floater popped into three smaller sentient bubbles much to everyone's relief and SpongeBob's excitement.
