The seventh season of SpongeBob SquarePants was announced in March 2008.[1][2][3][4] The season premiered on March 16, 2009 with Sand Castles in the Sand. Eight episodes aired during the Ultimate SpongeBob SpongeBash[5]. The third television movie, Truth or Square, aired on November 6, 2009 with millions of viewers. Two new episodes aired during the Super Stuffed Nicksgiving Weekend on November 25, 2009[6]. Two more episodes aired on January 2, 2010 for a New Year's celebration. Following the events after that, Gary in Love and Rodeo Daze aired in response to Valentine's Day. A week after that was the airing of two MM&BB episodes, Back to the Past and The Bad Guy Club for Villains. One day after the completion of these four airings, MechaWave revealed 7 never-before-seen episodes to the public, only available online at the official SpongeBob website.
