It took almost three years for Vinnie to recover from the trauma of that night. In 2007, he formed HellYeah and in 2017, Rex Brown started his solo career. Anselmo continues with Superjoint as of Summer 2017. On June 22, 2018, Vinnie died at his Las Vegas, Nevada home, of what a friend called a massive heart attack,at the age of 54.
