The Game Boy Advance version of Lights, Camera, Pants! is a SpongeBob SquarePants video game for the Game Boy Advance. Unlike the console version, This version was developed by WayForward Technologies and published by THQ.

Plot[]

When an episode of the popular series The New Adventures of Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy is supposed to be filmed in Bikini Bottom and Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy do not show up, with the show in danger of being canceled, the show's producer, Gill Hammerstein, makes it SpongeBob's job to find Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy and gain roles for him and Squidward for the show to go on.

Playable characters[]

  • SpongeBob SquarePants - he can inflate himself to fall down slowly, and kill nearby enemies.
  • Patrick Star - he can ground pound on rocks to destroy them, and hurls ice cream at enemies.
  • Squidward Tentacles - he can double jump in midair, and he blows a clarinet note that can pass through enemies.
  • Sandy Cheeks - she can walk on metal spikes and can punch enemies.

Backwards Compatibility[]

All versions of the game have backward compatibility on the following systems:

  • GameCube (requires Game Boy Player) - The Game Boy Player peripheral allows GBA games to be played on a GameCube.
  • Nintendo DS - The Game Boy Advance version can be played on either, a Nintendo DS or DS Lite.
