The laser helmet is a device invented by Plankton in the episode "Single-Celled Defense."
Description[]
It is a white helmet with a gray rim. Attached is a blue cannon with a meter on it and a red blaster.
Role in episode[]
After getting stepped on throughout his day, Plankton comes up with many inventions that will prevent it. The last one, which ends up being the only one that works, is the laser helmet. He tests it by having a metal boot stomp him, and the helmet fires a powerful laser that punctures the toe of the boot. As he cheers, he falls over and accidentally slices the Chum Bucket in half with a laser.
Plankton goes out to the streets to test the laser helmet, finding Fred as his first target. When Fred steps on Plankton, the laser cuts a hole in his leg, forcing him to be wheeled into an ambulance. Plankton tries to use it again on Sandy, but she dodges the laser and kicks him onto the ground, making him fire another laser that evaporates a flower cloud. As Plankton takes the helmet off to shake Sandy's hand, the helmet goes off one more time and makes a hole in Fred's other leg.
