Kyle Adam Carrozza is a character layout artist on the film The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water.
Biography[]
Carozza was born on May 19, 1973 in Catskill, New York, he is mostly known as a character layout artist for The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water partnering with notable crew members Bob Camp, Brad Vandergrift, Dave Cunningham, and Adam Paloian. In 1999, he attended the Art Institute of Philadelphia to pursue his goal for later animated projects for several other studios. He would later work with Frederator Studios for a failed animated pilot titled "MooBeared: The Cow Pirate" for Nickelodeon and a storyboard artist and revisionist for Fanboy & Chum Chum.
In 2015, he created Mighty Magiswords for Cartoon Network and was also a voice actor on his show. After the cancellation of Mighty Magiswords in 2019, he preceded his storyboard artist and acting role for Apple TV to work on The Snoopy Show and then returned to Nickelodeon on The Casagrandes Movie and The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish.
On June 20, 2024, Kyle Carrozza was arrested and charged with possession of explicit material. A month after his arrest, his wife Lindsay Smith filed a divorce against Carrozza.

- He is the second SpongeBob crew member to be arrested, the first was Rodger Bumpass, who was arrested for suspicion of DUI in 2016.
- Carrozza was influenced by Bob Camp and John Kricfalusi, which brought his inspiration to creating cartoons.
- Carrozza had also gained an online presence through YouTube and Twitter. He ran a gaming channel with his colleague John titled "Trying to Play" and was planning to make a pitch for two indie-animated projects, Frog Raccoon Strawberry and Ground Keith and Miss Citrus, which were both rejected by Nickelodeon.
- However, these two projects never came to fruition as the team parted ways with Carrozza after the accusations were released publicly, a month after his arrest.
