The Krusty Krab commercial is a commercial that first aired at 3:28 AM. It is shown in the episode "As Seen on TV" and the special "Behind the Scenes with Pick Boy and SpongeBob."
Role in episode
Originally, Squidward was going to produce the commercial, but after Mr. Krabs sees that he has gone a bit extreme for him, he fires everyone else that Squidward hired, except the clown, although he does not appear in the commercial.
Even though he only made a 3-second cameo, SpongeBob is extremely satisfied to have seen himself on TV for the first time and is lead to believe he is now a celebrity among the whole town.
