Location

The Krabby Battery is a restaurant that appears in the episode "Welcome to Binary Bottom." Like the Krusty Krab, it is across the street from a counterpart of the Chum Bucket called the Grease Bucket. Also like the Krusty Krab, it is in a suburban area of the city.

Description[]

It looks similar to the Krusty Krab but its sign has a light that reads "The Krabby Battery," while the rest looks metallic, with the battery and it has doors as well. It is a black and brown/orange battery with positive and negative symbols on either side (right and left respectively) stored in a battery compartment. It is hollow on the inside to hold Binary Bottomites. There is a large, robotic clam on a pole outside, which has light bulbs on top and large neon lettering that reads "The Krabby Battery" with a battery underneath.

In SpongeBot's station, there is an "electric" grill, multiple tables with battery-like toppings, and an oil deep-fryer. The grill electrocuting characters seems equivalent to being able to burn characters. It is unknown what RoboKrabs' office looks like.

There is a slit path on the floor for RoboKrabs to move throughout the restaurant.

Other than that, the interior appears to be a greener, more metallic version of the Krusty Krab. Also like the Krusty Krab, the restaurant is popular, unlike PlankBot's Grease Bucket counterpart of the Chum Bucket which is unsuccessful.

Role in episode[]

SpongeBot and SquidBot get ready for work. When they do, SpongeBot goes by the restaurant lockpad. He uses his hand as a key to get inside for work, and RoboKrabs shows up. He seems to be saying "yer fired," as he is malfunctioning on his firing mode, then SpongeBot comes over to RoboKrabs and hits him with his wrench to stop him from malfunctioning. SquidBot says that SpongeBot should be fired. RoboKrabs tells SpongeBot that he didn't intend to fire him, as SpongeBot goes in the kitchen to go to work. While he tries to flip the metal burgers, RoboGary comes out of him, then accidentally gets shocked on the grill, hits SquidBot's head, then he and SquidBot accidentally fall on the grill, getting electrocuted again. They then jump into the fryer, getting oil all over them. SpongeBot notices this and then RoboGary and SquidBot exit the Krabby Battery.

Trivia[]

  • The battery used on the exterior of the Krabby Battery resembles real-life Duracell batteries.
