General

• This is the third episode where Mrs. Puff and Mr. Krabs go on a date at Fancy! The first is "Krusty Love" and the second is "My Two Krabses."
  • He also goes to Fancy! with Cashina in "Married to Money."
• The title is slightly misleading, as it refers to SpongeBob and Squidward as cooks when they are actually waiters for Fancy! in this episode. However, it is also correct that it is also referring to SpongeBob's status as a fry cook, though it still gets Squidward's role is wrong.
• SpongeBob and Squidward were previously waiters in "Krusty Katering."
  • Apart from that SpongeBob already became a waiter in previous episodes such as "Squilliam Returns" and "Enemy In-Law."
• This is the first episode directed by Bob Camp, filling the spot of former director Adam Paloian.
