Knobby Knuckles is a saloon for motorcyclist fish in Bikini Bottom that appears in the episode "Potato Puff."
Description[]
Knobby Knuckles is a western styled building. The walls, the roof, and the floor made out of wood planks. They used light green bamboo for the other structures, like the pillars, the windows frame, and the sign's pole. There is a large light red knuckle-shaped sign in front of the saloon that reads the place's name and text that reads: "Fights nightly." On the front wall there is a second sign with a "Saloon" text on it. Above this sign is the skull of a mammal with horns to improve the western style of the place.
The place is there for motorcyclists to stay there. Because of them, a fight is held here every night so that they can brawl each other. All members of the saloon are fans of "Puff the Tuff." because they love her and they consider her a legend.
Role in episode[]
Mrs. Puff steals a potato from a submarine and makes it look like herself. She puts a transceiver in it to communicate with SpongeBob for the duration of SpongeBob's driving test and finally puts her wig on top of the potato. When SpongeBob arrives Mrs. Puff goes into her lighthouse, where she makes herself comfortable and navigates from there to SpongeBob. After a while, she completely misleads him due to some mistakes, and SpongeBob ends up on the highway, where he hits a motorcyclist and it goes up to an unfinished overpass and the biker falls off there.
When they arrive in Bikini Bottom, SpongeBob taps Potato Puff's back because he thinks she has swallowed a bug, as a result of which the transceiver switches to another channel, which is the police's transceiver channel. SpongeBob then starts chasing a kid riding a bicycle, while they drive past Knobby Knuckles. In front of the saloon, one of the fish recognizes SpongeBob, as he was the biker who fell off the overpass because of SpongeBob. SpongeBob causes a lot of chaos around the downtown area and eventually the riders surround SpongeBob and Mrs. Puff who arrives by the end of the driving test. The motorcyclists want to hurt them, but in the end they think he's "Puff the Tuff," after which the cops arrive and the bikers run away.
