The Klopguardians[1], also spelled Klop-Guardians,[2] are characters who appear in The Patrick Star Show episode "Tying the Klop-Knot."
Description[]
The Klopguardians are two muscular Klopnodians who uphold the traditions of the culture. Both of them have bare chests and mustaches, and wear spiked shoulder pads and hats. One of them is blue with brown facial hair and the other is olive green with red facial hair.
Role in episode[]
When Patrick goes back in time to eat Bunny and Cecil's wedding cake, Squidina asks if this means they are not officially married anymore. Bunny worriedly shushes her, and the Klopguardians smash down the Stars' door to take Bunny back to Klopnod. Squidina asks if their parents can stay together, offering to hold another wedding by sunset. They give Squidina a Klopnodian wedding law book and watch her to ensure she follows it.
The Klopguardians are present during the wedding planning scenes, checking a box off a list every time a new tradition is finished. Before the ceremony, Squidina asks the Klopguardians how much time she has, and they show her a clock that says 20 minutes are left. When Squidina worries that Cyberpat's arrival has ruined the wedding, the Klopguardians explain that she has now finished every tradition except one, including the newest one: the Battle of the Time-Traveling Children. After they notice the cake-kissing tradition has not been completed, one Klopguardian moves the sun up with his hand to give Squidina 15 more seconds to do it.
