Kelpy G is one of the famous clarinet players that Squidward dreams of being like. He seems to be a very mellow octopus who believes in peace and tranquility.
He appears in the episodes, "The Thing" and "Smoothe Jazz at Bikini Bottom," performing a jazz song on Squidward's TV and performing a concert. Squidward is annoyed that SpongeBob and Patrick keep interrupting while he is trying to listen to Kelpy G play. Squidward attempts to meet Kelpy G, but gets kicked out as SpongeBob plays with the musician.
