The Kelp Forest is the seventh main level and ninth level overall of the console versions of Battle for Bikini Bottom and Battle for Bikini Bottom: Rehydrated. This level requires 50 Golden Spatulas to enter, and the player must have defeated Robo-Patrick.

Mrs. Puff tried to have her Boating School lesson in the Kelp Forest, but the robots have scared all of the students into the forest. She tells SpongeBob that she was gathering twigs for winter and asks him to find all of the "campers." Patrick helps SpongeBob traverse the forest.

Rehydrated Changes

The following is a list of the changes made to Kelp Forest in Rehydrated:

• The lighting is slightly brighter than in the original game.
• The orange leaves that the player can jump on to go longer distances are also brighter in Rehydrated.

There are eight Golden Spatulas to earn in the Kelp Forest. Four of Patrick's socks are hidden here.

Through the Woods

• Get to the end of the Kelp Forest entrance area.

Find All the Lost Campers

• Find all the lost campers hidden in the Kelp Forest. Once this is done, Mrs. Puff will reward the player with this golden spatula.

Tiki Roundup

• Return all three Stone Tikis to the pedestals near Mr. Krabs, then he will give the player this spatula.

Down in the Swamp

• Hit the button next to the Freezy Fruit and it will open a cage with a Golden Spatula in it. Use the Freezy Fruit and then get to the cage within 25 seconds where the spatula is. To return, use the Freezy Fruit next to the cage.

Through the Kelp Caves

• Once all the buttons are hit in the Kelp Cave with the Cruise Bubble, a gate will open near the exit with this spatula in it.

Power Crystal Crisis

• Find all six of Barnacle Boy's Power Crystals and he will reward the player with a spatula.

Kelp Vine Slide

• Get to the bottom of the Kelp Vine slide.

Beat Mermaid Man's Time

• Beat Mermaid Man's best time down the slide of 1:41 and he will give the player this spatula.
