Synopsis[]
The episode begins with SpongeBob showing Patrick and Sandy to a secret field in the wild. When Patrick is exploring, he steps in sea cow poop, which Sandy tells him is lucky. A dollar bill flies into Patrick's face, so he runs around to find more cow poop. Eventually, he runs face-first into a purple cow. The cow is friendly, so the campers feed her and name her Lucky.
The three take Lucky to camp and play frisbee with her, and play a rodeo game. At sunset, Patrick cries over needing to leave Lucky alone. When Patrick wakes up, he sees Lucky in his bed, eating his socks and shoes. Squidward steps in, disgusted by the smell. When he sees Lucky, he is reminded of a cow toy he had as a kid, which looked just like her, showing a flashback of Squidward crying hysterically after his clarinet was taken away, before the cow toy made him smile again. Lucky eats some of Squidward's paintings, so he feeds her some more. She grows even more, so they take her around the camp.
Lucky beats Larry at a soccer game. Patrick has her act in a play at the Clampitheater, to the audience's applause. When SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy are taking Lucky around the camp, Mr. Krabs comes out and Lucky eats some of his clothes. The campers convince him to keep Lucky around because she can give them free milk, eat weeds, and is good luck.
The next morning, Lucky has grown even larger from Squidward feeding her paintings all night. She eventually grows so big that she sticks out of the cabin. Sandy gives her gum, so she blows a giant bubble that lifts her out. Patrick tries to lead Lucky to the ground, but gets dragged away. Lucky crashes upside down, landing on some cabins and eating others.
A line of frustrated campers call out Lucky for eating their belongings, and Mrs. Puff wants them to take her away. They leave Lucky back in the field, but she continues to follow them. They run down a hill, and Lucky uncontrollably rolls down, then winds up in the camp.
The camp counselors, and SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy, each push Lucky from different sides to flip her upright. Suddenly, Lucky begins squirting milk everywhere, shrinking down to normal size. SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy all dip cookies in the milk. Lucky releases one last bit of "luck," and SpongeBob enthusiastically steps in it. A dollar flies in his face, so he kisses his poop-covered shoe.

Trivia[]
General[]
- This episode was initially scheduled to premiere on June 27, 2023 at 5:00pm on Nickelodeon, but was pulled for encores of "Arbor Day Disarray" and "Mandatory Music."[2]
Episode references[]
- While quoting Romeo and Juliet, Patrick mistakes "east" for "weast," like he did in "Arrgh!"
- Patrick finding a stray farm animal, naming it, spending time with it and feeding it a lot of stuff is very similar to what SpongeBob did with his seahorse friend Mystery in "My Pretty Seahorse" and just like Mystery, Lucky is a girl and has a name that starts with a letter that’s in the middle of the alphabet and ends with a "Y".
Cultural references[]
- Patrick and Lucky imitate Romeo and Juliet. Patrick reads off a mangled version of a passage from the play.
Errors[]
- When Lucky squishes against SpongeBob and Patrick in the cabin, SpongeBob's mouth is colored white.
