Description[]
The junkyard worm is a giant worm with black hair and wears a golden chain around his neck. He also has lots of sharp teeth, a scary looking tongue of a snake, red eyes, and a really big mouth.
Role in episode[]
When Tinkle, Ouchie, and Pinkeye get dumped in the Bikini Bottom Dump, the junkyard worm's nap is disturbed. He hates trespassers so he chases them all around the dump trying to eat them. When he is about to eat them, Tinkle strikes back by giving him a swirly with the help of Pinkeye and Ouchie and ruins his black hair. Rube then says "That is one wimpy worm."

- The junkyard worm was a homage to the "jarringly scary parts" of movies like The Brave Little Toaster and The Land Before Time, with its design even being inspired by the tyrannosaurus called Sharptooth from The Land Before Time.[1]
- Even the name given to the worm on its concept art refers to it as the "Horrible Don Bluth Worm", with Don Bluth having been the original director of The Land Before Time.
