Jonathan "Jon" Robert Aibel (born August 6, 1969; age 54) is a crew member for the American series, SpongeBob SquarePants. He worked on the screenplay for the The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water and conceived a story for the film The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run, along with Glenn Berger and Tim Hill.[1]

He is best known for writing the Kung Fu Panda movies, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water, and Trolls.
