John (Incidental 5[1]) is a quiet light purple male fish who makes many cameo appearances throughout the series, starting with the episode "Ripped Pants."
Description
He is a light purple fish with gray fins and light yellow eyes, and wears an olive green T-shirt. He has purple lips and black eyes.
Name
His name has been used only once, in the episode "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy V." When the Dirty Bubble, Man Ray, and Barnacle Man were taunting him at Make Out Reef, they said "John and Nancy, sittin' in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G!".
Role in series
"Pickles"
At the Krusty Krab, he orders 12 Krabby Patties with wheat buns, which SpongeBob makes in quick succession. John then asks for extra salt, but Squidward states that there is not anymore and even refuses to check for any.
"Culture Shock"
He appears with Tom as one of the two background characters who appear when Squidward calls everyone into.
