Character
Dennis[2] is an elderly citizen from Bikini Bottom. He is also the adoptive father of Larry the Lobster.[1] He first appears in the episode "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy."
Description
Dennis is light greenish blue, but is light brown in the episode "The Sponge Who Could Fly." He is in the Mild Ones biker gang, and is also the manager of Barg'N Mart. He normally wears a pair of eyeglasses, a top hat, or purple shorts with orange polka-dots on them.
Biography
Dennis went to the same elementary school with SpongeBob.[2]
At some point, he married Mable.[1] The two then adopted and raised Larry the Lobster.[1]

- In the episode "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy," he wears white pants.
- In the episode "The Sponge Who Could Fly," he says he went to elementary school with SpongeBob, and SpongeBob remembers him right away.
- In the episode "One Krabs Trash," he wears a black hat with a purple brim.
- He is convinced by Mr. Krabs to buy an umbrella in his yard sale in this episode, saying that it is the queen of Switzerland. Dennis then replies that Switzerland has no queen. However, he buys the umbrella anyway.
